I just wanted to leave a comment about classroom management. Just judging by your writing, it doesn't seem like you're going to have a problem. What I did, the first day of class, was establish my rules. I let them help. I told them that we were in this together; that I was learning, the same as them. For the first few days, we practiced everything, including how to line up, how to pass out papers, what to say once the papers are received, etc. If you haven't already, pick up Harry Wong's First Days of School.
